If you’re flying in, the closest airport is the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, located in Manchester, NH. It is about 1½ hours to Harilla Landing from the Manchester airport. Boston Logan Airport is about 2½ hours to Harilla Landing. All major car rental companies are available at the airports.

If you’d like to coordinate with other people coming to/from the airports, get in contact with us and we’ll try to get people in touch. We may also have family members who could transport people to/from Manchester Airport.

Driving Directions to Harilla Landing (for meeting the boat shuttle to the island)

• Take 93 North to Exit 23 in NH for Rt 104 Plymouth/Meredith (this is about 6 exits above Concord, NH).
• Take a right at the bottom of the exit onto Rt 104 East, heading to Meredith. This road ends at Rt 3 (about 9 miles).
• Take a left on Rt 3, and go down the hill into downtown Meredith. At the lights, take a right onto Rt 25 (the lake is on the right and you’re basically circling around it).
• Take Rt 25 through the town of Center Harbor.
• Once through this town, you will come to a light at the top of a hill – there is a Aubuchon Hardware store on the left and a Mobil station on the right. Take this right – Moultonborough Neck Rd. Stay on this road for about 9 miles.
• Just after you pass Jo Jo’s Country Store, the road forks – the main road forks right, Geneva Point Rd forks left. Stay right. You will go over a little bridge. Continue down this road until the pavement ends. This is Harilla Landing.
• You may drive down to the small, thin dock closest to the water on the left at the end of the road. Parking is available along the length of the road.

Driving Directions to Harilla Landing from Burlington, VT
Burlington, VT is about 3¼ hours to Harilla Landing.

• Take 89 South out of Burlington and stay on it for 95 miles
• Take the exit for 4 East and stay on it for 25 miles
• Take the exit for Rt 104 East and stay on it for about 23 miles
• Rt 104 will end at Rt 3; now follow the directions above starting from the third step

GPS Directions

If you are using a mapping services or GPS for directions to the Harilla Landing boat dock, you’ll probably want to set your destination to the intersection of Long Island Rd and Adames Shore Rd, Moultonborough, NH 03254. Note: there seems to be a mistake on Google Maps that doesn’t distinguish between Long Island Rd and Old Long Island Rd. If you look at Mapquest and Yahoo Maps, they make a clear distinction between the two roads. Here are links to maps of Harilla Landing:

Friday, Sept 24:
• Boat arrivals from Harilla Landing – 2:00pm, 5:00pm, 9:00pm
Saturday, Sept 25:
• Boat arrivals from Harilla Landing – 11:00am, 4:30pm
• Boat departures from Sandy Island – 9:00pm, 10:30pm
Sunday, Sept 26:
• Boat departures from Sandy Island – 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:00pm

Boat shuttles are available only at scheduled times or for emergencies.  Please be sure to arrive at least 15 mins before the scheduled pick up time.  Let us know in advance if none of these times work; special arrangements may be possible.
